Privacy Policy

Be My Guest in Greece (“we”, “us”) is a travel planning business operated by Carol Papaletsos and based in Columbia, South Carolina. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why, and how it's used.

What we collect

Contact form. When you submit the form on our Contact page, the name, email address, travel details, and message you provide are sent by email to Carol via Resend so we can reply to your inquiry. We also send you an automatic confirmation email through the same service.

Newsletter signup. If you subscribe to travel updates (from the footer or the travel-updates panel), your email address is added to our mailing list through Klaviyo. If Klaviyo isn't reachable, your address may instead be captured for us to add by hand. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email at any time.

Site analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type). For visitors in the EU, UK, EEA, or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the consent banner - you can change that choice at any time using the “Privacy choices” link in the footer. We also use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which measure aggregated site performance and traffic without setting identifying cookies.

What we don't do

This site doesn't have user accounts or logins, and it doesn't process any payments. Travel planning and hosting services themselves - itineraries, bookings, deposits, and payments - are arranged and contracted directly with Carol outside of this website, by phone or email.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers named above (Resend, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Vercel) strictly to operate the site and respond to your inquiries. We don't sell your information to anyone.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete any information you've sent us by emailing carol@bemyguestingreece.com or calling +1 (803) 445-8545. You can adjust your analytics cookie choice at any time via the “Privacy choices” link in the footer.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
